This finishing stone is ready to use and is already lapped on both sides.
We recommend soaking the stone in water for at least 10 minutes before use.

Please Note: Nero Ardesia Sharpening stone for finish grit, a material with an unmistakable charm, may show surface marks, similar to scratches, at the end of its processing. These marks are an unavoidable residue of the cleaning process with water, during which the stone, once processed, is gently rinsed. This washing process can create fine scratches on its surface.

However, there is no cause for concern. These aesthetic marks do not affect the functionality of the stone, nor do they detract from its effectiveness as a sharpening tool. On the contrary, it is a completely normal and expected phenomenon.

In order to remove any marks, it is sufficient to pass 800, 1000 or 1200 grit water abrasive paper over the stone on both sides of the stone, which are already lapped by the manufacturer.

Remember that these surface marks do not damage the stone, nor do they compromise its usefulness or durability. They are only temporary marks, easily removed, and testify to the careful process to which the ston
